Mini-Lifti shared cars are also available for hire during office hours throughout the summer

The City’s Mini-Lifti shared cars are available for public hire from 12 June to 9 August 2026. Normally, the cars are reserved for use by City employees on weekdays between 7.00 and 16.00. However, during the summer holiday period, anyone can book a Mini-Lifti, including during office hours.
The city has three fully electric Mini-Lifti shared cars with automatic transmission. Between 12 June and 9 August 2026, two of the cars will be available for hire 24 hours a day every day.
The Mini-Lifti cars are located in the Public Utility Services car park at Kirkkopuistikko 26. The cars are operated by Omago, which owns the vehicles and takes care of their maintenance, cleaning, insurance and booking app. Bookings and car door access are handled through the Omago app around the clock.
Easy and flexible way to use a car
Charging Mini-Lifti cars is now simpler than before. When the car is returned to the Public Utility Services parking area at the end of the booking and plugged in, charging starts automatically – no separate activation is required. The battery starts charging as soon as the charging cable is connected to the car.
