New deposit return collection racks for City of Vaasa green areas

Deposit return collection racks for drink containers have been installed on the side of rubbish bins in the green areas of the City of Vaasa, from which residents can freely place and collect deposit return bottles and cans.
The deposit return collection racks can hold, for example, seven 0.33 l cans. Thanks to the new experiment, it is now even easier for residents to collect deposit return bottles and cans. It is also hoped that the deposit return collection racks would not be filled with rubbish.
There are 10 deposit return collection racks in various green areas around Vaasa. The racks can be found in the following places, for example:
- Hietasaari
- Hovioikeuden puisto (park)
- Kalarannan puisto (park)
- City Hall area
- Onkilahden puisto (park)
- Palosaari market square area
