The pedestrian and cycle path along Huutoniementie will be refurbished from 18 May

The refurbishment will take place along the north side of Huutoniementie, between Keskuskatu and Kuninkaantie. During the works, pedestrians and cyclists will be diverted via the cycle path on the south side. The public is urged to exercise caution near the work site.
Access to properties will be maintained throughout the works. The work is scheduled for completion by the end of July.
The route will be improved including through the renewal of the structural layers and asphalting. Last summer, refurbishment of the pedestrian and cycle path began between Kuninkaantie and Lehtikuusentie, and the improvement work is now continuing.
As part of the refurbishment, narrow sections of the pedestrian and cycle path will be widened, and junctions will be made safer.
