Would you like your child to learn English in early childhood education?

English-language teaching is designed to introduce children to the basics of English and to prepare them for the transition to English language basic education.

Early childhood education in a foreign language (English) is aimed at Finnish-speaking children aged 5 to 6 from Vaasa.

The child should have Finnish as their mother tongue, or the child has good Finnish language skills (wide vocabulary).

Apply by 20 February!

Fill in the electronic early childhood education application in the Edlevo app and select “Yksityinen päiväkoti English Playschool” as the service unit.

The application requires strong electronic identification. If you do not have access to strong identification, please contact service coordination within Early Childhood Education and care.

The decision regarding the selection will be sent during March

• in Edlevo, if you have given consent for electronic notification.
• by letter to your home, if you have not given consent for electronic notification or if you do not use the Edlevo app.
