Soft-voiced Pepe Willberg is undoubtedly a familiar master performer to all who enjoy light Finnish music. Willberg’s decades-long career has had more successes than anyone can count, and the orchestra’s May Day Concert spoils the audience with rich orchestral versions of some of Willberg’s most famous hits as well as some less often heard treats. Eero Saunamäki is an accomplished woodwind musician, singer, and conductor, who kicks off the May Day celebrations in bubbly, musical spirits.
