Jorma Panula Conducting Masterclass

Jorma Panula’s conducting masterclasses in Vaasa have already become a concept amongst the public as well as young, gifted, would-be conductors. This comes as no surprise because Panula’s teaching has produced a large number of significant conductors throughout the years. Klaus Mäkelä and Tarmo Peltokoski are among the recent domestic talents who have participated in Panula’s masterclasses in Vaasa, and both have quickly become sought-after names even in international conductor circles.

What kinds of personalities will attend the course this year? The conducting masterclass is open to the public daily, and a course concert on Saturday afternoon shows how far the pupils have progressed during the week as maestro Panula’s apprentices. 

The matinee is free of charge.
