The City Orchestra’s Christmas concert features the royal work of Baroque music, Georg Friedrich Handel’s magnificent oratorio Messiah. There is plenty of gold and myrrh in the voices of the orchestra’s guest soloists, and it is difficult to overpraise the fine Canticum Maris choir from Vaasa. The joy of Christmas will overwhelm your heart at the latest when the majestic Hallelujah Chorus rings out!
