If anyone can say they have received everything from life — and also given much back — it is surely Pepe Willberg. Eight decades have included remarkable popularity, meaningful music, and unforgettable encounters with audiences, but also countless miles on the road, innumerable venues, and relentless work behind success. In the anniversary concert, Willberg’s career is revisited from the 1960s to the present day through familiar music and anecdotes. Alongside skill and energy, a measure of luck may also have played a role along the way, something both the artist himself and all of us fans can only be grateful for.
