Few people understand and can describe the challenges of working life as profoundly as Helena Åhman. In this lecture concert, organized as part of LittFest, she explores emotions and confronting difficult situations based on her new book Tunnerohkeus. Joining her is Tommi Läntinen, one of the legends of Finnish rock music, who has written many songs on similar themes. On his latest album, he performs acoustic versions of key songs from his career — and this kind of soundscape is precisely where Vaasa City Orchestra feels most at home. The evening promises thought-provoking perspectives from both science and art on the ability to speak honestly while also understanding one’s fellow human beings.
