Christmas 2025 brings a wealth of delicious Christmas buffets and Christmas lunches all around the Vaasa region – from atmospheric city restaurants to sea views, island jetties and evenings with live music. Christmas buffets in the archipelago and by the sea

In December, Berny’s serves both a Christmas buffet and a Christmas lunch. Traditional Christmas dishes are combined with a genuine archipelago atmosphere, and on selected evenings there is live music – a perfect choice when you want your Christmas party to be a complete experience.

In Vaasa, by the seafront, Faros Restaurant Ship & Terrace serves an atmospheric Christmas lunch buffet from 9–19 December, Tuesday to Friday during the day. You can enjoy a generous Christmas buffet where classic flavours meet modern touches – and crown the experience with a sweet dessert in a tranquil seaside setting.

With Wasaline, you can combine Christmas food with a sea cruise. From mid-November until 23 December, the ship’s archipelago buffet is transformed into a Christmas buffet laden with the season’s best delicacies – from tasty fish dishes to warm Christmas favourites. There are also various packages available that include drinks with the meal.

Christmas buffets, shows and entertainment

Åminne Julshow 2025 – a full evening experience with a three-course dinner, stand-up comedy and live music on 12 December. In addition to the show evening, there is also a homemade, traditional Christmas buffet on several days at the beginning of December. It’s an excellent option if you want to combine Christmas treats with laughter and dancing.

Bock’s Corner Brewery tempts you with a Christmas menu, a rustic atmosphere and its own brewery. Up until 20 December the venue is especially lively – every Friday and Saturday night there is live music late into the evening, and on 19 December the cosy Christmas Haymarket event takes place.

In Vaasa, VENN serves a Christmas dinner with a Christmas buffet on the evening of 13 December. The table is laid with ham, Christmas fish dishes, casseroles and desserts – and during the evening Maria Hortans and Ralf Nyqvist perform beautiful Christmas songs that enhance the festive atmosphere even more.

Flavours of the city – from lunch to late-night dinners

HEJM offers both a Christmas lunch and a seated Christmas menu from the end of November until 22 December. he Christmas lunch is served on weekdays at lunchtime, while the seated Christmas menu is a five-course experience where the flavours of Christmas are given a modern, refined twist and each course is served directly to the table – no queuing at a buffet

At FRÖJ, you can enjoy a generous Christmas menu full of surprises and the scents and flavours of Christmas from 19 November all the way to the end of December. On selected days in December, FRÖJ’s Christmas lunch is also served – a perfect moment with colleagues or friends in the middle of the Christmas rush.
