The Vaasa Swimming Hall has four different pools, which cater for activities of different ages.
In addition to swimming, an admission ticket to the swimming hall allows visitors to practice deepwater running and go to the gym. A diving platform and springboards are also available for visitors.

Norrvalla is a regional centre for sport and an excellent place for recreation and training sessions for large or small groups.
For exercise, Norrvalla has a modern full size sports hall, a gym for strength and condition training, spinning cycles, exercise tracks, swimming pool and therapy pool, heated artificial grass pitch (105 m x 68 m) and football hall (64 m x 40 m).
You can try out a range of sporting activities at Norrvalla in Vörå. There are premises for large or small groups. Meals are served in Elsa’s Kitchen. Nature invites you to relax in the open air

Norrvalla Swimming Pool is located at Campus Norrvalla. The facility features two pools: one for adults and one for children. The main pool has four lanes and is 16.6 meters long, meaning that three full laps back and forth add up to 100 meters. This pool is ideal for swim training and exercise.
The children’s pool is designed to be safe and fun for the youngest visitors.
For those who enjoy a colder dip, there is also a cold pool.
Adjacent to the swimming hall, you will find Norrvalla Gym.

Park Onkilahti is a popular recreational area for the city’s residents both in summer and winter.
The park consists of an open landscape and stretches around rhe bay Onkilahti. In the area, there is an activity park with beach volleyball courts, a petanque court, and a fitness station specifically designed for seniors. For children, there is a big playground.
In the park, there is a grill that can be used for picnics (bring charcoal). Park Onkilahti is also a popular spot for fishing with a fishing rod.
Also Vasa Skatepark is located in a central position within Onkilahti activity park.

Next to the Söderfjärdsbacken residential area, there is a fitness staircase built by the Söderfjärden Heritage Association. The staircase has a total of 105 steps.
There are two ways to reach the fitness staircase:

From the car park accessible via Söderfjärdsvägen 760.

Through the Söderfjärdsbacken residential area, starting from Ejdervägen. Note: Parking is not allowed here, so please come on foot or by bike.

The Club Billiard – Vasa’s only billiard hall, opened to the public in November 2020!
In the hall there is 1 full-sized Snooker table, 8 full-sized Pool tables and a pleasant lounge with, among other things, two dartboards and various board games. There is also a bar with a wide selection and student-friendly prices!
The Club offers everyone an opportunity to spend pleasant moments with their friends or company guests. Our unique program packages offer the company entertaining programs for recreation days, Christmas parties, customer events and team days.
