ART EXHIBITION: ARTHUR RAGNARSSON Iceland
Article categories: Museums & Folklore
Welcome to the enchanted world of strange characters and broken objects.
Makers’ Gallery presents an exhibition by Icelandic artist Arthur Ragnarsson. The artist works with graphite and acrylic paint on canvas and creates a poetic pictorial world that is in a musical motion. The works in the exhibition arise from a trancelike state where the artist seeks himself outside the sensory world. Intuition and automatic drawing take over and lead to an arctic landscape among vaults and wrecks, fallen angels and lost demons.
