Rowing boats available to borrow
Vaasa residents selected rowing boats available for borrowing as this year’s participatory budgeting project. Rowing boats are now available to borrow free of charge at Ukkokari, in Onkilahti and in Vähäkyrö.
The City of Vaasa has acquired three rowing boats and life jackets, which can be borrowed free of charge from the Onkilahti traffic park, the Ukkokari restaurant in Gerby, and Café Kanttorila in Vähäkyrö.
The boats can be borrowed during opening hours
Boats can be borrowed during the opening hours of each location. The boats are locked, and the key along with the mandatory life jackets can be collected from the respective locations.
Opening hours:
- Saaristoravintola Ukkokari: Please check the opening hours on the restaurant’s website.
- Café Kanttorila, Vähäkyrö: Tue-Sun from 12–18
- Onkilahti traffic park: Mon–Fri 12:00–18:00, Sat–Sun 12:00–16:00.
Rules for borrowing:
- Each rowing boat can be borrowed for up to two hours at a time.
- Borrowers must be at least 18 years old.
- Each boat can accommodate a maximum of four people.
