An energetic atmosphere

The coastal City of Vaasa is full of energetic energy pulse and easy living

Vaasa has turned out to be a hidden gem – the people are really nice, the nature is beautiful and the town is surprisingly lively. We selected the location for business reasons, but I have found that it is also a very good place to live. We appreciate that Business Finland has put a lot of faith in us via the Startup Permit, and we strive to deliver on that here in Vaasa.

The name EnergyVaasa refers not only to the energy hub but also to a vitality that can be seen in the city’s high employment rates, development, vivid atmosphere and happy people. Vaasa is a vibrant city founded more than 400 years ago, offering high living standards, a good work-life balance and opportunities for the entire family.

Vaasa is an international city with over 97 languages and 120 nationalities. Cosmopolitanism is part of Vaasa’s everyday life, and the pluralism of the city can be seen in an increasing number of foreigners and their visible role in the development of the city. Services are available in English, and people can apply for jobs in international companies, for example, where English is the primary language.
