Physiotherapy appointments for 18-65 year olds

Fill in the pre-information form before arriving.

A physiotherapist will examine and evaluate your situation at the clinic. You will receive instructions on how to treat the pain yourself, recover quickly, and prevent your symptoms from recurring. Together we will assess the need for further treatment.

A doctor’s referral is needed before a patient over 7 years of age can receive physiotherapy.

For longer-term musculoskeletal disorders, a health centre doctor will need to assess the need for physiotherapy and submit an electronic physiotherapy referral. Contact your doctor for instructions on how to activate the referral. The time of a physiotherapy appointment is given by telephone or letter.

After back surgery, the operating surgeon may refer you for a check-up visit with a physiotherapist at the health centre.
