Family discount

If more than one person (child or adult) attends from the same family, a family discount of 10-50% of the tuition fees may be granted.

Discounts are calculated so that no discount is given for the highest tuition fee, 10% for the next highest, 20% for the third, etc. The maximum family discount is 50%.

Example:

• Child 1: tuition fee €255, no discount
• Child 2: tuition fee €233, discount 10%
• Child 3: tuition fee €71, discount 20%

A discount must be applied for separately and instructions for applying will be sent to families in September.

Family discounts do not apply to open-studies students.

Free Student Places

Free student places are granted either in part or in full. The basis for granting a free student place is family income.

In September, applications can be made for free student places for the school year. If your family income has changed during the school year, you can apply for a free student placement in January for the spring term.

Students are entitled to obtain a certificate of their studies from the office on request. However, the certificate can only be obtained up to a maximum of one year since the studies were completed. Study certificates are not invoiced.

Persons who are not enrolled in the Kuula-opisto also have the opportunity to apply to the basic music education or theory study groups. Registration must be submitted to the office by 15 August. The tuition fee is €113.

Old curriculum degrees can still be privately completed until 2021. Please contact the office regarding fees.
