Federation of Finnish Enterprises’ National Event 2016 in Vaasa
The Federation of Finnish Enterprises’ National Event, organised in a different city every year, is targeted at all entrepreneurs and operators with an entrepreneurial spirit in Finland. The City of Vaasa and Arenas in the Vaasa Region had the honour of hosting the 2016 event. Because the three-day event attracted a massive number of participants, the venue had to be spacious, practical and safe.
As many as 1,300 visitors participated in the 2016 event. The programme comprised the annual meeting of entrepreneurs, a range of interesting keynote speakers, and relaxed evening programme with dinner and festivities. The impressive host of speakers included a range of prominent figures from Bruce Oreck, US Ambassador to Finland, to Gustav Hägglund, Commander of the Defence Forces.
Successful event met with praise
In addition to the diverse programme and fantastic setting, the well-functioning arrangements and delicious dinners were met with praise. From the viewpoint of the local entrepreneurs’ organisation, the Regional Business Federation of Coastal Ostrobothnia, everything ran smoothly, with the help of the personnel of Arenas in the Vaasa Region.
“All tables and chairs needed for the event were in place at the Arena, and help for the arrangements was easily available at all times. Overall, the whole event was highly successful and the feedback we received from participants was extremely positive,” says Hippi Hovi, CEO of the Regional Business Federation of Coastal Ostrobothnia.
