Registration and application times

The instrument carousel course is mainly intended as a continuation course for 7-9 year-old students from the music playschool or music preparation groups.

Towards the end of the spring, we will send out separate instructions on registration for those who are already our students. New students can register in April through the Kuula-opisto’s Wilma registration form. A maximum of 30 students are admitted to the instrument carousel group. Those selected for the group are informed about the teaching by e-mail.

Objectives and teaching content

During the school year, students become acquainted with five different instruments: cello, violin, flute, cornet and clarinet.
Each student is taught an instrument for five weeks, after which the instrument is changed. Musical instruments will be borrowed from the Kuula-opisto during the tuition, and the rental fee is included in the tuition fee. Changes in the instrument selection are possible.

Teaching times

During the school year, the students take a 30-minute / week rhythm lesson and a 30-minute / week instrument lesson. The student thus has a total of 60 minutes of teaching once a week. The teaching day is on Thursday.
