Registration and application times

The instrument carousel course is mainly intended as a continuation course for 7-9 year-old students from the music playschool or music preparation groups.

Towards the end of the spring, we will send out separate instructions on registration for those who are already our students.  A maximum of 24 students are admitted to the instrument carousel group. Those selected for the group are informed about the teaching by e-mail.

Objectives and teaching content

There are seven instruments included in the instrument carousel: piano, violin, flute, clarinet, cornet, guitar and trombone. Up to 24 children can take part. Children are admitted in the order of registration.

Musical instruments will be borrowed from the Kuula-opisto during the carousel, and the rental fee is included in the tuition fee.

Teaching times

During the school year, the students take a 30-minute / week rhythm lesson and a 30-minute / week instrument lesson. The student thus has a total of 60 minutes of teaching once a week.
