Meet the artist:
Nai Nai – works primarily with painting, video, and performance, her practice centers on the female subject and embodied experience. Beginning with her own body, she observes and documents shifts, internal and external, surface and beneath the skin. Her work is rooted in close attention to the everyday, often unfolding through intimate dialogues and layered narratives. Through these gestures, she explores the tension between self and other, the personal and the political.
