Jeppis Jazz Festival was founded in 2008 and is arranged annually in October. The festival is a platform building bridges between local, national and international musicians in the genre of Jazz. The festival has hosted artists as Yellowjackets, Angélique Kidjo, Jonathan Kreisberg, Norma Winstone, Gunhild Carling, David Braid, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ari Hoenig, Nils Landgren, Jerry Bergonzi, Jan Allan, Verneri Pohjola among many others.
Double bass player Johnny Åman is the musical director for Jeppis Jazz Festival since 2019.
